These hot air roasters make use of high speed air to suspend the coffee in heat creating the perfect roast. The benefit of this is that there is no residual oils left in the drum to taint the flavor of new and exciting blends, and their is no chaff left for the roaster to incinerate which creates a nasty smokey flavor.
